Sencha Naturals green tea mints on their signature chartreuse brand color. The line comes in canisters, eco-tubes and many other formats. Photos were done for printed marketing collateral, website use and in social media and email campaigns. The shots required careful dealing with reflective surfaces and the desire to show the detail texture in the leaf shaped mints.
Sierra's Favorite is a line of destination inspired travel essentials. Their latest addition is a 3-in-1 conditioning shampoo & body wash infused with the local ingredients and fragrances each destination is known for while being plant based and free of harmful chemicals. The photos needed to evoke the natural ingredients in an attractive and colorful way, hopefully alluding to the amazing fragrances they have in person.
For the launch of the John Varvatos line of fragrance and grooming products, these shots were taken for the website to be used as full frame hero images. A darkened studio look was done reminiscent of the packaging and color schemes often found in the fashion line. Miniature lights were used to achieve detailed reflections and the inner glow of the translucent packaging. Extensive retouching was needed since this packaging was mocked up and rough in appearance compared to what the final product would be.
The Sencha Naturals line of matcha lattes had regular packaging updates needing imagery for website and digital campaigns use as well as in print. I was not always able to jump on a plane to the islands, but did use my shot from the Bahamas along with an outdoor shot with matched lighting to pretend I had a day at the beach.
The new Keto Matcha Latte from Sencha Naturals makes it's mark with bold silver packaging, vibrant green matcha, overlaid with white type. Eye catching on the shelf as well as challenging to capture in the studio. The result is ready for the next flight to the space station.
Matcha is great for drinking as well as having many uses in cooking and baking. Desserts are just the start of the culinary creations that can be made with matcha. This setup hopefully inspired some curious bakers on the website, email newsletter, in blogs and in ad campaigns.
Just another a day at the beach! And by that I mean a cold winter's day, going to the hardware store to get a sandbag, walking uptown with it careful not to step in the slush at the curb, dumping it in a turkey roasting foil pan and getting the shot. But you gotta do what you gotta do for a full page ad in W magazine for fashion week.
Hello superfood lattes, don't you look handsome! I know these are just the basic shots (click) for ecommerce but you're bringing it (click)! Turn around (click), a little from one side (click), yes (click, click)! Yeah baby! I can almost taste those yummy lattes.
A variety of imagery was needed and created for Sencha Naturals products to use on the website feature tile, in social media posts and ads, for partnerships with like-minded brands and other B-Corps. This woodblock countertop setup was easily adaptable for print and digital needs giving a warm look and helping to highlight the colorful green packaging.
You truly can't get this this glowing skin, healthy hair and nails from just genetics alone! It takes some extra collagen protein now and then. The sharp retro graphics were captured best by a bare bulb and strong shadows like you might find in at a mid-century kitchen table.
Product and lifestyle shots for Sencha Naturals help bring the green tea creations and what you can create with them, to life. From green tea mints, matcha lemonade to matcha pancakes these capture the many ways green tea can make it into your daily routine. But the best part was getting to eat the pancakes after the shoot.
A perfect little tea cup, in the perfect shade of green surrounded by green. Glorious! These Forlife tea cups were the perfect companion to the Sencha Naturals matcha starter kit and made their way onto packaging (so you know where to put your matcha I suppose).
The Sencha Naturals product get the occasional field trip around the block to stretch their legs, get some air and put their toes in the grass. At least a break from the stuffy studio to get their moment in the sun (or shade).
